commercials showing, talking, or demonstrating about such things as condoms, male enhancement, etc. Personally, I think it’s disgraceful and degrading of our generation, and there are children viewers. If I had children, I wouldn’t approve of them watching such on television. What do you think?

Heh, I agree. Those commercials are shown all the time whenever I’m with my younger cousins. They’re the kids who totally want everything they see on TV. So, once….you see where I’m going. xD
It’s totally innappropriate, gross, and stupid.
i think children shouldn’t be watching that much TV
in the first place. And if that is horrible what about
Ad’s for tobacco and other things along the
lines of that? I think it’s fine, most kids don’t pay attentionn
at commercials unless they have some sweet toy.
I am not a fan of the adult oriented content that “The N” shows. “The N” is a channel spawned from Nickelodeon, so you would think that it would be safe…however…in one day, my 7 year old asked me to buy her some Tampax (cuz of the cool gymnasts in the commercial) and told me that there was one girl kissing another girl. I had to convince her that it was a guy with long hair. On the show with the kissing girls, they said “raging bi*ch”, too. Way too questionable to kids, or even tweens. And we wonder why they are “growing up so fast”…
Good call…sounds like we are on the same page.
EDIT: The show that I am referring to where the girls kiss and they said “raging bi*ch” was called “Beyond the Break” and it was on at 7pm…not 10pm, or 11pm, or 6am or some other hour deemed to be “grown-up” time. As folks have said, it is the parents responsibility…so I didn’t let her watch. The question was “what do we think?” That’s the good thing about OPINIONS…they vary.
Usually you won’t see those commercials until late at night (at least I never have). If your kid is up at that hour, that’s YOUR fault.
All those ridiculous “male enhancement pills” are total scams and any guy idiotic enough to BUY the things shouldn’t reproduce anyway.
mmm I agree with commercial information, so that the teenagers take their precautions and think twice before having sex, they are fine,but I do not like ads of drugs for sex, would have to transmit as
at 1 AM or later, here in mexico transmitting such and is be uncomfortable in front of children…
these are on late at night or early morn. the others are so obscure, kids will not know what they are talking about and if they do, WTF is the parents teaching their kids that they know what a condom or lube is?
Television content viewing is the parents’ responsibility. Maybe the current laws are fcc’ed up, but that’s not the networks fault. The ads don’t bother me. I have important things to ponder.

The condom commericals are fine. The male enhancement commercials are really stupid.
The guy from the enzyte commercials (Bob), is doing 15 years in jail for fraud.
i don’t think it’s a big deal. little kids don’t even know what they’re talking about, it’s just another commercial to them.
I think it’s just sad and pathetic that people have nothing better to do than create things like then and then advertise them.
