Why is it that some of you “Christian” ladys out there find it necessary to post Pic’s or avatars that are a bit suggestive? or shoud I say provocative?
Am I sayin this right? I mean am I being PC about this? Do you really believe that men need to see “sexy air brush artist renditions” of your girls out there?
So many of us men are doing our best to not objectify you all and yet you seem to objectify yourselves.
Can I Get A Witness?????
can some of you “blessed women” out there give a brother a break? or am I asking too much?
Any thought?
PS: I can assure you I don’t need any help in the fantasy department most of us guys struggle with that all the time. (consider the longerie catalogues and the adds on TV victoria secret, even weight loss comercials, the male enhancement ads [how stupid since the only male enhancement we need is The Lord Jesus Christ] mmmm did I miss any?) Hence the need for my question.

Attractive and sensual are two different things.
My avatar looks better than me I have to admit. But, Bob, I agree with you. If their picture looks like that imagine the kind of stuff they wear and do in real life!! I’ve tried to argue your side to some girls but they blame men. It’s their fault for looking.

The women who do that , mostly do that for friends however 99 percent of the women on my list don’t have a real picture of themselves because they don’t need one . The women on my list have intelligence and I am sure beauty although I probably will never know .
Regardless of religion, any girl wants to look attractive in her photos. Usually girls will find faults in their pictures/face/body that might not stand out to other people.
No matter how pretty, skinny or charming she is, she will never be fully satisfied with her image, no matter what she says to others. Mostly it’s about looking attractive for yourself (not boys), so you feel good about your appearance.
Also, from a scientific point of view, women are always in competition, whether they realize it or not. They will always want their picture to be “better” than someone else’s. Trying to enhance an image is like enhancing yourself: you just feel better afterwards.
Same applies to being sexual or provocative in pictures. It’s usually not about “asking for sex” or suggesting things, but again being attractive, just in a different sort of way.

I know what you mean, though. You ain’t seen nothing until you’ve been to the Polls & Surveys category. Some of that stuff was rated XXX….until Yahoo realized what was going on and now they screen everything. Really…no one wants to see that stuff on here. Well….at least I don’t.
i think its because we try to make guys like us better and thats what the guys like to see it seems like these days

Well we are all naked in Gods eyes and if you have trouble dealing with what God has given us then I think you may have a problem with pornography and you should deal with that in your own heart. We all have a sin full nature I for one am christian, but I do not care for clothes except when it is cold out. And if I’m old and ugly and you can’t deal with that well than don’t. Go to God about it answers won’t help you there and the world is worldly and Christians are supposed to live in the world, but not let the world consume them.

I don’t think my avatar is suggestive in nature. If it is then I apologize. My avatar looks like me. But I do understand what you are talking about some women realize their sexual strengths and think it is the mans job to deal with it.
those are the lonely Christian ladies who scour the other sections in search of love. er…anyway, I think it IS love that they are scouring for. They don’t want to use any namby-pamby avatar just when they answer a question or two here.
