I’m an older female who mainly uses the computer for news, games and shopping around the holidays. I am so tired of getting e-mail that will enhance my imaginary penis 3, 5, or 6 inches. I keep marking these as spam, but they keep coming. This morning had a funny one. Increase your copulation organ! Why am I getting so many and when did spammers decided that I was a man??

Let me ask you something! Do you open these messages to see what they say? If you do, that’s what is causing the increase in this kind of spam. When you open spam, you trigger a notice back to the spammer that gives him your actual email id and address. He collects and sells that information to other spammers, and your spam load of a particular kind increases. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER OPEN EMAIL FROM SOMEONE YOU DON’T KNOW!
In Yahoo classic email, empty your Bulk box without even looking at the stuff, because it’s already considered spam, which is why it’s in the Bulk box.
Mail that comes to your inbox is where you need to be careful. Just keep on clicking on spam on unwanted messages. They will eventually slow down. Mine was down to 1-2 a day, but the last several days I’ve seen an increase. Spam does that, it comes and goes. Don’t give up on getting rid of it, just keep on clicking that Spam button.
When you go into different websites you leave behind cookies. The sites are able to track you and start sending you all kinds of junk. Always delete your cookies, temp folders and history. Sometimes that stops you from getting so many. Never open these emails it only verifies your email address and you will get a lot more. Just always click on them and hit the spam button.
